Marc Richards was an accomplished public speaker in his twenties when he became a Competent Toastmaster, which is what they called Competent Communicator back then. He went on to serve an illustrious term as Area VP Education.
He is going to give you the gift of laughter. He uses humor in his daily life to offset the misfortune he experienced, which led to his paralysis.
Marc is working on becoming an Advanced Communicator Bronze and Competent Leader. He is currently doing an awesome job as VP Membership for Quest Toastmasters.
He will have you rolling in the aisle by giving the fourth speech from the Humorously Speaking manual. The title of his speech is “The gifts of my life.” The objective of the speech is to
1.Prepare a speech that opens with a self- deprecating joke.
2.String together two or three related jokes in the speech body, and
3.Close the speech with a humorous story.
Please give a warm welcome to the accomplished wordsmith Marc Richards.
