Leon Hoyer is a paraplegic who heard of Taylor and came to America to learn from him. During his stay here, he participated in the 2006 LA Marathon walk. When he got back to South Africa he wrote me this note.

Thank you for all the arrangements for Sunday !  It was a great day and I know this was not possible without your help.

I write this e mail with tears in my eyes and thankfulness in my heart. I walked for the 1st time in 3 and a half years! It was a short walk but it was MY walk. It was the best few steps in the history of my life. There is many things that happen in one's life and we all have moments that we will treasure for ever and I want to thank and your family for making Sunday 19
March 2006 a HUGE day in my life, a day I can treasure for as long as I live.
